Darted Cup

Our "Oversized" cutters are made specifically for potters looking to create larger format shapes. They are perfect for keeping a consistent size when creating your works of art while speeding up the cutting process. 

While these were made with potters in mind, you can definitely use them with other materials such as polymer clay or play dough - the possibilities are endless. Our "Oversized" cutters are made with a tapered blade giving them more strength while still having a clean cut.

Sizing

Our Darted Cup has 2 pieces:

• A square base which is 6 cm in diameter
• A darted rectangle wall which is 28 cm x 10 cm

Construction

This set of two cutters creates a darted cup with a 10 cm top, 6 cm bottom and 10 cm height. This is the dimensions when cut from wet clay, please consider the shrinkage rates of your individual clay for final dimensions.

The Darted Cup set is designed to constructed in a particular manner so that all the pieces fit. We have assumed that you will be working with clay that is 0.5 - 1.0 cm thick. Some pieces may overlap and require trimming.
