Octagon Cup

Our "Oversized" cutters are made specifically for potters looking to create larger format shapes. They are perfect for keeping a consistent size when creating your works of art while speeding up the cutting process. 

While these were made with potters in mind, you can definitely use them with other materials such as polymer clay or play dough - the possibilities are endless. Our "Oversized" cutters are made with a tapered blade giving them more strength while still having a clean cut.

Sizing

Our Octagon Cup has 2 pieces:

• A octagon base which is 10 cm x 10 cm
• A rectangle wall which is 3.8 cm x 10 cm

Construction

This set of two cutters creates a Octagon Cup that is 10 x 10 cm with 10 cm height. This is the dimensions when cut from wet clay, please consider the shrinkage rates of your individual clay for final dimensions.

The Octagon Cup set is designed to constructed in a particular manner so that all the pieces fit. We have assumed that you will be working with clay that is 0.5 - 1.0 cm thick. Some pieces may overlap and require trimming. Video tutorial coming soon.
